Anny is 13 years old, she enjoys music and studies cello, piano, and violin.  She attained her piano ATCL and cello LTCL with distinction in 2022. In 2023 she studied the violin and attained Grade 5. She is preparing for her Grade 8 exam at the end of February. She has won several international and national 1st places for cello, for instance, in the Italy Concorso Internazionale Valsesia Musica International competition, Charleston International Competition, Hong Kong International Violin and Chamber Music Competition, International New Zealand Young Talent Music Competition “NZYOUMUSIC”, and an honorable mention in the Australia/Melbourne International Piano and Strings Festival Competition. She has also won awards for piano in the ASIA International Piano Grand Prix and was a finalist in the Richard Clayderman Competition for pianists. She has a full scholarship in the Pettman National Academy of Music and was a part of the Auckland Youth Orchestra. She has been involved in festivals like the International Akaroa Music Festival as a young artist in residence in 2023. The chamber group AHA trio she is a part of has won Silver in the NZCT (New Zealand chamber music competition) Auckland regional finals in 2022, and both AHA and Glinka Trio participated in the regional finals in 2023. She has had masterclasses with many teachers for cello such as Edith Salzmann, Ramon Jaffe, Josephine Vains, Daniel Allcott, Heleen Du Plessis, Margaret Coltmann, Alex Gebbert, and Svetlana Bogosavljevic. She has also had lessons with Glen Riddle, David Griffiths, Wolfgang Kraemer, and Luca Manghi for chamber music and instrumental classes. Anny was accepted into the Victorian College of the Arts on full scholarship and was moved up a grade because of her academic achievements in August 2023 and is looking forward to studying music there in March 2024.
